Flood Insurance Training
An insurance producer who sells flood insurance may satisfy the minimum training
and education requirements by completing a 3-hour course related to the National Flood
Insurance Program (NFIP).

Long Term Care -LTC
Agents wishing to sell Long Term Care are required to take a one time only 8 hour Department of Insurance certified course
Each license term thereafter each agent must complete a 4 hour Long Term Care Partnership CE course that is approved by the department.
CE completions are submitted electronically the next business day after a passing completion is acquired. A fee of $1.65 fee will be charged for processing of your credit hours for each course taken and will be added to your total at check out.
License terms are base on the Agents birth date and year. If the agents birth year is a odd numbered year then the renewal will be every 2 years on the last day of the agents birth month in odd numbered years. If the agents birth year is a even numbered year then the renewal will be every 2 years on the last day of the agents birth month in even numbered year.
Public Adjusters renewal will be March 31 every year.
Certificates of completion are available as soon as a course is completed with a passing
grade. Certificates should be printed and kept on file for 3 years.
Effective October 1, 2010 CE exemptions are only issued for military or medical reasons.
Effective October 1, 2010 CE exemptions based on age (65 years or older), years of continuous licensure (at least 25 years) and professional
designation or inactive agent status are no longer issued. Anyone issued this exemption prior to October 1, 2010 will continue to be exempt from the 24 hour requirement but must still complete the mandatory hours in ethics and flood.
